Woodbine Oaks Winner Back in Form

Giant's Causeway conformation

Winner of the Woodbine Oaks last year, Irish Mission (4m Giant’s Causeway x Misty Mission, by Miswaki) returned to her best form at the same venue during the week to score a resounding win.

The Mark Frostad trained daughter of champion sire Giant’s Causeway had been placed in Graded company this year and appreciated the drop in class to take this 1 and 3/8th mile allowance on turf by a widening nine lengths.

A $375,000 purchase from the Fasig-Tipton August Select Sale, Irish Mission has won four races and more than $974,000 in prizemoney from 17 starts.

Irish Mission is a half-sister to Grade III winner French Beret and is one of four winners from stakes-winner Misty Mission, a daughter of Canadian Grade I winner Hangin on a Star.
