Yeats bumper winner sells for £135,000

Just under three weeks after winning a Naas bumper in taking fashion on his debut, Sir Will (4g Yeats-Tinopasa, by No Pass No Sale) sold for £135,000 on Saturday evening. The son of Yeats was always highly-regarded by trainer Harry Kelly and he is set to join trainer Peter Bowen after being bought by owners West Coast Haulage at the Brightwells post-racing sale at Cheltenham. Bowen has a big target in mind for the four-year-old, who was bred by Paudie Ryan and is a sibling to black-type performers Que Pasa and Gem Daly. "We'll try and get a run into him soon," Bowen told the Racing Post. "The aim is to get him to Aintree in the spring for the bumper. He won his race well in Ireland and should progress."
