Yeats’ Some Neck so impressive on hurdling debut

Some Neck (5g Yeats-Maternelle, by Machiavellian) looks another top-notch novice hurdling prospect for trainer Willie Mullins after winning on his jumping debut on Tuesday. The five-year-old faced 15 rivals in the Limerick maiden hurdle but justified strong market support to come home seven lengths clear of the field. “He’s so relaxed and I think over three miles he’ll be a better horse," said Patrick Mullins.

A €100,000 graduate of the Goffs Land Rover Sale, Some Neck was bred in France by S C A Dela Perrigne and Elevage Decourteille.
