Zoffany 2yo looks so smart

Zoffany looks to have another high-class juvenile after T For Tango (2c Zoffany-Diminish, by Raven’s Pass) began his career on the best possible note at Naas on Sunday. James Nash’s charge arrived at the track with a big reputation and those that backed him from 16/1 into 5/1 never had too many worries as Pat Smullen got his mount in front in the five-furlong maiden. "He's been a lovely horse all the way through and never once disappointed. I didn't think he would win but I was hoping he'd run well. Pat really likes him,” said Nash. "On his pedigree we think he wants better ground. He cost plenty of money at the time but it looks well spent now. Hopefully I can keep him as there is sure to be plenty of interest in him now. There will be no rush with him and I've no particular plans.”

Bred by Wardstown Stud, T For Tango was bought as a yearling at Goffs for €80,000 by Justin Bahen and Hanshen Tham.
