$135,000 Colt for Competitive Edge
With a winning double on the track over the weekend Competitive Edge was making news again at the 2019 Fasig-Tipton New York Bred Yearling Sale where he had another good sale result with a classy colt selling for $135,000.
Consigned by Stuart Morris as agent, the colt from Sundae’s a Meese was snapped up by Steve Winston. He is a half-brother to four-time winner Messy Sundaes and his dam is a half-sister by Artax to stakes-winner Meese Rocks.
Competitive Edge has made a flying start to his stud career with stakes-winner My Italian Rabbi, stakes-placed Fierce Lady and five other winners from just 22 runners.
