No Nay Never Colt Rewards Breeders At Goffs

A son of No Nay Never led a terrific days trade for Rockfield Farm when selling to Rockbank Bloodstock for €330,000 at the Goffs November Foal Sale.

The prized colt is the first foal out of Michael O’Flynn’s homebred Stakes winner Piece Of Paradise (Holy Roman Emperor), who is currently in foal to St Mark's Basilica.

“We couldn’t be happier,” Rockfield Farm manager Mitch Barry later said. “We’ve always liked the colt, he’s been a cracker from day one. When we came up here everything just clicked with him and he came out of his box every day and did everything perfectly.”

“We’re big fans of No Nay Never, he’s had a phenomenal season,” Barry continued. “It’s been a great family for Michael and all the O’Flynns, and this is a great day for the farm.”

Earlier in the session, Rockfield Farm sold their Wootton Bassett colt out of Loved to Valentine Bloodstock for €220,000, while their full-brother to Group 2 winner Coltrane (Mastercraftsman) brought €65,000 from Jeremy Brummitt.
