Forest Of Dreams Wins At Navan 1

No Nay Never Sires Smart Treble

Forest Of Dreams (2c No Nay Never - Winning Sequence, by Zafonic) completed a treble for No Nay Never on Friday when racing home strongly at Naas.

Racing over five and a half furlongs, the Aidan O’Brien-trained colt was pushed along from two furlongs out and began to quicken home approaching the final furlong. Staying on well, the chesnut won by two and a quarter lengths.

Speaking after the race, winning jockey Seamie Heffernan said, “He has a great mind and he has scope. He's got tactical pace and he finished up the hill. He has plenty going for him.”

Bred by Epona Bloodstock, Forest Of Dreams was a 900,000gns yearling purchase by MV Magnier.

Earlier that afternoon at Hamilton, the David O’Meara-trained Eternal Blush (3f No Nay Never - Surrey Pink, by Kyllachy) made it two from two when justifying favouritism in the six furlong novice stakes.

Carrying a penalty for last month’s debut success, she raced prominently throughout under David Nolan and was asked to challenge over a furlong from home. She ran on to win by a length and a quarter in comfortable fashion. The Clipper Logistics-owned bay was bred by John Connolly and comes from the family of Dream Ahead.

Meanwhile, at Haydock, Able Grace (3f No Nay Never - Sanadaat, by Green Desert) made a successful step up to seven furlongs when taking the Novice Stakes under Hector Crouch.

Racing close to the pace, she was shaken up two furlongs out and gained a narrow advantage approaching the final furlong. Racing on well, she won by a length and a quarter from the even money favourite Derdas, with a further five and a half lengths back to the third horse.

Trained by Clive Cox for Ms Charmaine Li, Able Grace was bred by Minch Bloodstock and Castletown Stud. A €110,000 yearling purchase, the daughter of No Nay Never is a half-sister to the highly-rated Charcor (Choisir) and Fennaan (Footstepsinthesand).
