Juvenile Stakes-Winner for Lucky

Promising filly She’s Pretty Lucky (2f Lookin at Lucky x Pretty Amusing, by War Chant) scored a thrilling last stride win in the $50,000 Letellier Stakes at Fair Grounds on the weekend to become the 30th stakes-winner for her sire.

A homebred for Will Kari, the Eddie Kenneally trained filly won on debut at Churchill Downs on September 20 before finishing fourth in the Rags to Riches Stakes at the same venue.

Having her third start in this six furlong sprint, she settled back in the field and charged home to win by a nose.

She is the second winner for unraced War Chant mare Pretty Amusing, who comes from the family of Grade I winner and sire Coronado’s Quest.

She’s Pretty Lucky is the 30th stakes-winner for former Champion 2YO and 3YO Lookin at Lucky, who covered her dam Pretty Amusing again this year.
