Future Looks Bright For No Nay Never Colt

Dhabab (2c No Nay Never - Habbat Reeh, by Mastercraftsman) shaped like a classy prospect when justifying strong market support in Tuesday’s six furlong maiden at Leicester.

Bought at the breeze-ups for £200,000 last month, the chesnut was sent off favourite on his first start for Poseidon Thoroughbred Racing and John and Thady Gosden. He raced in midfield under Robert Havlin and was pushed along approaching the two furlong marker, making good headway to lead entering the final furlong. Running on strongly, he won by two lengths, going away.

It will be interesting to see what Dhabab does next, particularly given that the last two runnings of this race have gone on to score at Stakes level, while other winners include Thunder Snow and Toormore.
