More Stakes Success for Lookin at Lee
Second in the Grade I Kentucky Derby as a three year-old, Lookin at Lee (5h Looking at Lucky x Langara Lass, by Langfuhr) is still performing well and landed the $200,000 Downs at Albuquerque Stakes on the weekend.
Trained by Steve Asmussen, Lookin at Lee scored a half length win in the 1 and 1/8th mile contest taking his overall record to four wins and nine placings from 25 starts with prizemoney in excess of $1.3 million.
A $70,000 Keeneland September purchase, Lookin at Lee is a half-brother to Grade III winner Blended Citizen and stakes-winner Battlefield Angel being from good producing stakes-winner Langara Lass.
