Catch The Paddy (No Nay Never) Wins His Maiden At Hamilton

No Nay Never Colt Wins Maiden With Ease

Catch The Paddy (2c No Nay Never - Pandora’s Box, by Galileo) built on two promising performances to justify favouritism in Tuesday’s two-year-old maiden at Hamilton.

Runner-up on both of his previous starts, the Kevin Ryan-trained colt was held up by Kevin Stott in the early stages of the six furlong contest. Making smooth headway two furlongs from home, he produced a strong challenge approaching the final furlong and soon began to draw clear. The bay showed a professional attitude to lead by two lengths on the line, with another three and a quarter lengths back to the third.

Catch The Paddy runs in the colours of Steve Ryan and was bred by Lynch Bages Ltd out of the unraced Galileo mare Pandora’s Box.
