It's No Nay Never again in Arqana

No Nay Never’s first crop continued to make a huge splash at the Arqana August Yearling Sale in Deauville on Sunday evening, led by a colt who realised €400,000. The brilliant son of Scat Daddy was represented on Saturday night by a €480,000 youngster, who will join Andre Fabre. Peter Doyle, acting for a partnership including the Mayfair Speculators, picked up Sunday’s prized offering. The colt was out of G3 Prix de Psyche winner Chiaba (by Peintre Celebre). “We were underbidder on the No Nay Never colt that sold on Saturday - we love the stallion and think that he’s going to be really good,” said Doyle. “This was a very nice individual and we’ll have to make our minds up where he’s going to go.”

No Nay Never had four yearlings sell in the two Arqana select sessions for an average of €268,750.
