Sister To Ten Sovereigns Proves A Class Apart

The well-bred Adabbah (3f No Nay Never - Seeking Solace, by Exceed And Excel) shaped like an exciting prospect when powering clear in the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Catterick on Wednesday.

Sent off second favourite for the seven furlong contest under Pierre-Louis Jamin, the Karl Burke-trained bay was pushed along to lead from two furlongs out and was ridden clear approaching the final furlong. Running on strongly, she beat the favourite by five and a half lengths, with another six and a half lengths back to the third.

Bought by owners Promenade Bloodstock at Ocala for $350,000, Adabbah is a full-sister to dual Group 1 winning sprinter Ten Sovereigns (No Nay Never), who welcomed his first foals this year. Camas Park, Lynch Bages and Summerhill have bred three winners by No Nay Never out of Seeking Solace and offer a full-brother at the upcoming Tattersalls Book 1 Sale.
