Winning Run for So You Think

Former champion racehorse and leading second crop sire So You Think posted his third promising maiden winner this week when Solo Heart (3g So You Think x Link to My Heart, by Stravinsky) saluted as a short priced favourite at Cranbourne on Friday evening.

Having his third start and first on a good surface, the son of So You Think relished the step up to 1600 metres to forge clear and win by three-quarters of a length.

Prepared by Chris Waller for Sun Bloodstock and Sun Kingdom, Solo Heart was a $130,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Marquee Stud draft and was bred by Mark Alati.

He is the first winner for imported North American stakes-winner Link to My Heart (USA), a daughter of top class shuttle sire Stravinsky.

The win for Solo Heart follows on from earlier success this week for two year-old filly Intrinsic and three year-old gelding California Wisdom.
