Land Force (No Nay Never) winning a maiden at the Curragh

No Nay Never colt scores for O’Brien

Aidan O’Brien is planning to step first-crop No Nay Never colt Land Force (2c No Nay Never-Theann, by Rock Of Gibraltar) up in grade following an impressive Curragh maiden win on Saturday.

The classy juvenile made all to win the six-furlong maiden with little difficulty to the delight of connections.

"We were a bit worried about the heavy ground over six furlongs but he came forward lovely," said O’Brien. "Donnacha was very happy with him. He's a hardy horse, and is going to take racing, so he could come back here for the Listed Marble Hill Stakes. You'd be delighted with him.”

Bred by Mrs Evie Stockwell, Land Force is a sibling to US Grade 1 winner Photo Call (by Galileo).
