Coolmore N.H. Breeders Point-to-Point Incentive

The Coolmore National Hunt division would like to announce a new incentive for the 2024 breeding season.

Any breeder of an open 4YO or 5YO only Irish Point-to-Point Maiden during the 2024 spring season sired by a Coolmore N.H. stallion past or present will receive a €1,000 credit. This can be offset against any nomination to a Coolmore N.H. Sire purchased by them for the 2024 breeding season. Breeders are entitled to receive an unlimited number of credits but only one may be used per nomination.

“Point-to-points are the grass roots of Irish racing and a nurturing ground for future stars,” said Albert Sherwood. “Our clients follow the horses they breed very closely and this gesture will hopefully provide an extra reason to celebrate if one of their graduates wins on the point-to-point field.”

Terms & Conditions

• The breeder of an open 4YO or 5YO only Point-to-Point Maiden between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2024 sired by a Coolmore National Hunt stallion will receive a €1,000 nomination credit.
• Winners sired by both active and inactive Coolmore National Hunt sires are eligible to win the €1,000 nomination credit.
• The offer includes Point-to-Point races run under IHRB rules in both the Republic and Northern Ireland.
• There is no limit on the number of €1,000 nomination credits that any one breeder can claim, provided only one credit may be used per nomination.
• The €1,000 nomination credit can be applied against nomination bills for Coolmore National Hunt stallions used during the 2024 season only. Any €1,000 nomination credit (or portion thereof) that is not used during the 2024 breeding season will expire and may not be carried over into subsequent breeding seasons.
• No cash alternative will be offered.
• Where the winner of a race was bred in partnership, the €1,000 nomination credit will be split between breeders in accordance with the ownership of the winner’s dam at the time she was covered.

• The decision of Coolmore regarding any aspect of the nomination credit will be final and binding.
