$140,000 for Pour Moi Filly
Epsom Derby hero Pour Moi had the top priced filly during the opening session of the NZB Select Yearling Sale at Karaka on Wednesday. From his first Southern Hemisphere bred crop of yearlings, the filly from Mary Agnes made $140,000 for Haunui Farm when secured by Victorian trainer Henry Dwyer. She is the second foal of a young winning Zabeel mare, who comes from the extended family of Epsom Derby winner Lammtarra. Pour Moi also had some strong results during the first two Premier sessions of the NZB National Yearling Sale Series with a colt from Baltika selling for $170,000 to Raffles Racing/Mulcaster Bloodstock and a filly from Mia Le Fay fetching the same money when secured by Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock.
