Flying Dragon (War Command) selling for £175,000 at the Goffs UK Goodwood Sale

£175,000 War Command colt

Promising War Command juvenile Flying Dragon (2c War Command-Histoire De Jouer, by Kaldounevees) is joining Richard Hannon after realising £175,000 at the Goffs post-racing sale at Goodwood on Wednesday evening.

Second on his debut for trainer Matthieu Palussiere at Chantilly on July 9, he looked a colt of great promise for his exciting sire.

Agent Ross Doyle struck the successful bid and told EBN: “He’s going to Richard Hannon. He’s a big, scopey horse by a good stallion and he’s come from a good home. The maiden race in which he was second looked a good contest.”

Flying Dragon was bred in France by Bruno Camas-Denais.
