War Command had his fifth winner in as may days when Peter Chapple-Hyam saddled the classy Sh Boom (2f War Command-Nouvelle Lune, by Fantastic Light) to win at Newmarket on Saturday.

Winning rider Tom Queally felt his mount belonged in black-type company after finishing ahead of Star Of War (2f Declaration Of War-Sunshine For Life, by Giant's Causeway) in a useful novices’ event.

“Sh Boom felt like the sort of filly to get black type in the future. She stayed on well out of the Dip,” said Queally.

Sh Boom races for her breeder, Star Pointe Ltd and J G Davis.

The previous day, Athena Star (2f War Command-Angie And Liz, by Spectrum) was successful at Chantilly for trainer Cedric Boutin while on Thursday, Archie Watson saddled Isaan Queen (2f War Command-Dundel's Spirit, by Invincible Spirit) to win.

On Wednesday, the Richard Hannon-trained Flying Dragon (2c War Command-Histoire De Jouer, by Kaldounevees) was successful at Sandown a day after lleanthus (2f War Command-Holy Alliance, by Holy Roman Emperor) landed a Galway maiden for Aidan O’Brien.
