Seek And Destroy (Verrazano) winning the Chelsey Flower Stakes at Belmont Park

Another Brilliant Win for Verrazano Filly

The Chad Brown trained filly Seek and Destroy (2f Verrazano x Search and Seizure, by War Chant) broke her maiden at Belmont earlier this month and took another step forward when winning the $100,000 Chelsey Flower Stakes at Belmont on Sunday.

She led all the way and galloped clear to win the one mile contest by three and a half lengths and has now won two of four starts earning over $100,000 in prizemoney.

A $425,000 Keeneland September Yearling, Seek and Destroy is a half-sister to Grade III winner Tammy the Torpedo and was the fourth highest priced yearling from the first crop of her sire.
