Another Stakes Win for Book Review

Talented filly Book Review (3f Giant’s Causeway x Clever Babe, by Distorted Humor) scored her second Black Type success when racing away for an easy victory in the $85,000 Imperial Gesture Stakes at Belmont. Trained by Chad Brown, Book Review looked good in winning her previous start in the $400,000 Charles Town Oaks and ran up to that form again to win the 1 and 1/16th mile contest by four and a quarter lengths. A homebred for Gary and Mary West Stables, Book Review has won four races and placed three times from eight starts earning $404,455 in prizemoney. She is from Clever Babe, a half-sister by Distorted Humor to Grade I winner Irish Smoke.
