Best Yet To Come From Pour Moi’s Latest Winner
The Ger Lyons-trained Marchons Ensemble (2c Pour Moi - Sugarformyhoney, by Dutch Art) delivered on the promise he showed on debut when justifying favoritism in Friday’s seven and a half furlong maiden at Bellewstown.
He was beaten just a length into second last month and Colin Keane maintained the partnership, riding Graham Bradley’s homebred to chase the leaders. Producing a challenge in the straight, he led entering the final furlong and ran on well to score by three and a half lengths.
"He's a work in progress. There's more improvement in him and being by Pour Moi, he will get further. He appreciates a little bit of ease in the ground.” trainer, Ger Lyons.
Marchons Ensemble is the first foal out of Sugarformyhoney, herself also a winner at two. Pour Moi commands €5,000 at Grange Stud this season.
