Dancing Warrior (War Command) winning a novice stakes at Chepstow

Black-type next for War Command filly

Dancing Warrior (2f War Command-Corps De Ballet, by Fasliyev) is set for a step up to stakes company after becoming the latest winner for War Command at Chepstow on Thursday.

Trained by William Knight for Gordon Roddick, who bred the filly with David Jamison, the speedy filly held off all-comers to win the five-furlong novices’ event.

“The horses that finished second and third were two nice horses so I think it was a good performance and Dancing Warrior is hopefully a filly we should look at getting black type for,” said Knight.
