Choisir Sparkles at Inglis Easter
Proven Group I producing sire Choisir is enjoying sensational results at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with three youngsters averaging $416,667 during the first two sessions. Best result for Choisir was a terrific colt from Kerimba (IRE) that made $460,000 for Kia Ora Stud when secured by Tom Magnier. The colt is a half-brother to stakes-winner Cathay Lady from a superb European family packed with Black Type. Also for Choisir, Milburn Creek as agent for Makybe sold the brother to multiple Group I winner Starspangledbanner for $450,000 to Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, while again for Milburn Creek, the first foal of Group I placed Encosta de Lago mare Valdemoro made $340,000 when secured by Richard Jolly.
