Debut Bumper Winner For Pour Moi

Pour Joie (4g Pour Moi - Lupa Montana, by Giant’s Causeway) caught the eye when making a winning debut in the two mile bumper at Warwick on Saturday.

The Ian Williams-trained horse was the only four-year-old in the six horse field and was ridden towards the back of the pack by Aidan Coleman. Making headway with over two furlongs left to race, he led before the furlong pole and ran on well to beat Frau Georgia, a £115,000 store purchase, by three and a half lengths.

Owned by the Helen Jameson Racing Partnership, Pour Joie was bred by Ashbrittle Stud and is from the third crop of Grange Stud stallion Pour Moi.
