First mare in foal for Pour Moi
Glen Rosie, runner-up in the Group 3 Fred Darling Stakes and dam of Montjeu’s first ever stakes winner Kings Quay who landed the Listed Washington Singer Stakes, has been scanned in foal to Pour Moi (Montjeu). The daughter of Mujtahid was purchased by Newsells Park for 320,000gns with Kings Quay in utero at Tattersalls December and has since produced a second stakes performer. “We’re delighted with the response to Pour Moi,” said Coolmore’s Christy Grassick. “His book reads like a “Who’s Who” of the best breeders in Europe with the likes of Prince Khalid Abdullah, James Wigan, Maria Niarchos, George Strawbridge, James Hanly, Jim Bolger, Pat O’Kelly, Sonia Rogers, Kirsten Rausing, Anthony Oppenheimer, Moyglare Stud and Gestut Ammerland all sending him quality mares.” Epsom Derby winner Pour Moi stands at Coolmore at a fee of €20,000.
