Only Mine (Pour Moi) winning the Listed Bosra Sham Stakes at Newmarket

Listed win for Pour Moi filly Only Mine

First-crop Pour Moi filly Only Mine (2f Pour Moi-Truly Mine, by Rock Of Gibraltar) battled well under Pat Smullen to take the Listed Irish Stallion Farms Bosra Sham Stakes at Newmarket on Friday. It was a deserved black-type success for the Joe Murphy-trained filly, who had been runner-up in a G3 at Ayr on her previous run. "She has done it the hard way. I am delighted to see the horse come here and win,” said Murphy. "She was on her own for about a furlong and a half, which is long way to be on her own, while she would probably want better ground. "You wouldn't expect a Pour Moi filly to be a six-furlong horse but a lot of jockeys have said that they are quick. She will either now be aimed at the Guineas trial at Leopardstown or the Athasi Stakes at the Curragh to see if she stays.” Only Mine was bred by the late Marguertite Weld.
