Elleanthus (War Command) winning a maiden at Galway

O’Brien sends out War Command winner

War Command was responsible for another exciting first-crop winner on Tuesday when Elleanthus (2f War Command-Holy Alliance, by Holy Roman Emperor) landed a Galway maiden.

Trained by Joseph O’Brien for his mother Annemarie, the filly looked a classy prospect as she landed the seven-furlong maiden by four and a quarter lengths.

“Elleanthus was sixth in a hot maiden at the Curragh on her debut and travelled well in today's race and picked up well when I gave her a squeeze,” said winning rider Shane Crosse.
