Giant Run 750

More Stakes Success for Giant Run

Improving colt Giant Run (3c Giant’s Causeway x Who Did it and Run, by Polish Numbers) posted his second Black Type victory when taking out the $100,000 Manila Stakes at Belmont on Monday. A stakes-winner at Gulfstream earlier this year, Giant Run has been consistent since then but was back to his best in taking this one mile contest on turf by a length and a half. Prepared by Thomas Albertrani, Giant Run has the overall record of three wins and four placings from 10 starts with prizemoney topping $247,000. A half-brother to stakes-winner American Victory from Grade II winner Who Did it and Run, Giant Run was a $200,000 Keeneland September Yearling purchase.
