Giant Run 750

More Success for Giant Run

Improving colt Giant Run (3c Giant’s Causeway x Who Did it and Run, by Polish Numbers) posted his third Black Type victory when taking out the $206,800 Centaur Stakes at Indiana Grand. A two time stakes-winner earlier this year, Giant Run has been most consistent and took the 1m contest on turf by three quarters of a length. “Every race, you learn more and more about a horse and I probably learned the most about this horse when I rode him in at Gulfstream and finished second [in the Palm Beach],” said winning rider Joe Bravo. “He has a good kick at the end so we wanted to let the others go on early and then close. We got a great trip today.” Prepared by Thomas Albertrani, Giant Run has the overall record of four wins and four placings from 12 starts with prizemoney topping $375,000.

A half-brother to stakes-winner American Victory from Grade II winner Who Did it and Run, Giant Run was a $200,000 Keeneland September Yearling purchase.
