Two exciting juvenile wins for Excelebration

In-form Excelebration had a couple of two-year-old winners on Saturday who both looked a little out of the ordinary.

At Windsor, the Mark Johnston-trained Rebel Assault (2f Excelebration-Naomh Geileis, by Grand Slam) - an eight-length winner on her debut - won a conditions event by seven lengths. The filly races for her breeder, Christine Budden and partners.

“Rebel Assault has a lot of speed and that was a routine gallop for her. She's in a Listed race at Sandown on Friday and it will be interesting to see if she goes there,” said winning rider David Probert.

Meanwhile, the Richard Hannon-trained Billy Dylan (2c Excelebration-It’s True, by Kheleyf) looked another future black-type performer when landing his second career success in a Chester novices' success. The colt was bred by River Downs Stud.
