Promising young sire Haradasun has had three smart winners in quick succession, the latest to salute being three year-old filly My Shabella (3f Haradasun x Risky Banter, by Rory’s Jester) , who scored at Doomben on Saturday.
The Bruce Hill trained My Shabella took the 1200 metre open three year-old sprint by a long head and is in rare form having won three of her past four starts.
Retained to race by her breeder, My Shabella has won four races and placed four times from 10 starts earning in excess of $60,000 in prizemoney.
A half-sister to Group III placed Leapfrog, My Shabella is one of six winners from Risky Banter, a full sister to stakes-winners Real Jester and Seidnazar.
The success of My Shabella comes hot on the heels of exciting wins for Prince Harada (Ballarat) and Runhardasun (Canterbury) all three sired by former champion three year-old Haradasun, who stands this season at the modest fee of $8,800.
