St Mark’s Basilica Colt Wins G2 Derby Italiano
2021 European Horse of the Year St Mark’s Basilica will be headed back to Australia later this year and he featured on Tuesday when the Andrew Balding trained colt Venetian Prince (3c St Mark’s Basilica x Arabian Queen, by Dubawi) made a successful raid on the Group II Derby Italiano (2200m) at San Siro.

Wootton Bassett Colt Wins G1 Queensland Derby
The Australian second season sire table changed shape after the Group I Queensland Derby with the late Wootton Bassett zooming into a close second place with a bullet after his classy colt Providence (3c Wootton Bassett x Southbank, by Fastnet Rock) took the prize.
