100th Winner for Fastnet Rock
The Blue Sky Thoroughbreds colours were carried to victory at Scone on Thursday by Non Stop Rock (3f Fastnet Rock x Bezzerra, by Grand Lodge) an impressive winner trained by Paul Messara that has the honour of becoming the 100th Australian winner this season for champion sire Fastnet Rock.
Three year-old filly Non Stop Rock has been improving with every run this preparation and put it altogether to bolt away and win the 1300 metre maiden by three and a half lengths as a hot favourite.
Non Stop Rock was a $150,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Blue Sky thoroughbreds from the draft of Newgate Farm and is the second winner for Bezzerra, a half-sister by Grand Lodge to stakes-winner Immortality from the family of Group I winner Choice Bro.
