$105,000 St Mark’s Basilica Filly

2021 European Horse of the Year St Mark’s Basilica made a good impression at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale this week with his first Australian weanlings and posted his best result with a filly from Kookie Gal (USA) that made $105,000.

Consigned by Milburn Creek, she is the first living foal of a stakes-winning import from a US Black Type family and was bought by Glenvale Stud.

St Mark’s Basilica had eight weanlings average $54,563 and had good results with a colt from Reverse selling for $95,000 to Cannon Hayes Stud and a filly from Soft Kiss (USA) selling to Simon Miller Racing for $80,000.
