$130,000 for Adelaide Yearling Filly
Hot on the heels of siring impressive Sydney debut winner Funstar this week, Adelaide was also making a splash at the 2019 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale with his filly from Vinay selling for $130,000 at the Gold Coast.
Consigned by Riversdale, the filly is the first foal of blue-blooded Fastnet Rock mare Vinay, a half-sister to stakes-winners Nadedge and Martique, the dam of Group I winner Charmont and her grand-dam is Group I winner Champagne.
She was bought by renowned judge Paul Moroney and is the most expensive yearling sired by Cox Plate winner Adelaide this year.
An electrifying son of legendary sire Galileo, Adelaide stands at a fee of $11,000.
