$280,000 So You Think Filly
So You Think has had some lovely youngsters offered at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale this week with his top seller a filly from Fastnet Rock mare Majesty that made $280,000 for Fairhill Farm.
The filly is a half-sister to multiple stakes-winner Lady of Honour and Group II placed Our Couver with WA based Byerley Bloodstock the successful purchaser.
Byerley Bloodstock is Liam Peters, purchasing with his grand-father Bob Peters, whose cerise and white silks have been a fixture in West Australian racing for many years with countless Group I winners including superstars such as Arcadia Queen and Delicacy.
“She’s [So You Think, filly] a beautiful mover, a nice type with a great head and she had a great attitude the whole week, even when I wasn’t looking at her personally I saw her out for other people and she took it all in her stride,” Byerley Bloodstock’s Liam Peters said.
“We went one or two bids further than we thought but we’re really happy to have secured her.”
Majesty was covered again last spring by So You Think.
Another big result for So You Think was his colt from Acouplamas that made $240,000 for Davali Thoroughbreds when purchased by Avesta Bloodstock / HP Thoroughbreds.
He is a full brother to Group I ATC Australian Derby winner Quick Thinker and half-brother to Group III winner Seasons and Group III placed The August.
