$300,000 for Pride of Dubai Colt

Dual Group I winning 2YO Pride of Dubai has been making his mark at the 2019 Magic Millions Yearling Sale this week with some great results including a colt from Magic Nera that sold for $300,000 on Friday.

Consigned by Tyreel Stud, the colt is the second foal of Magic Nera and was bought by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, who bred and raced his sire Pride of Dubai.

Unraced Magic Nera is a sibling to stakes-winners Tromso and Primero from the family from New Zealand Horse of the Year Tidal Light.

Other good sales for Pride of Dubai were a colt from Queen’s Fashion for $260,000, a colt from Zero Tolerance for $240,000 and a filly from Storm Fronts for $220,000.
