$320,000 Vancouver Colt at Inglis Ready 2 Race
Vancouver had one of the top sellers at the record breaking Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale on Tuesday with his colt from Purity selling for $320,000.
Consigned by Glenn Haven Thoroughbreds, the colt breezed impressively in 10.41 seconds and will be headed to Hong Kong having been bought by R Yiu / Hawkeye Management.
He is a half-brother to two winners from Purity, a placed half-sister to Golden Slipper winner Merlene from the family of Group I VRC Oaks winner Dear Demi and another Golden Slipper winner in Capitalist.
He was a successful pinhook having been sourced from the Widden Stud draft at Inglis Premier for $120,000.
Vancouver will have a runner on Saturday in the $7.5million Golden Eagle with his Group II winning daughter Vangelic (4m Vancouver x Angel Bee, by Pins) drawn ideally in gate five.
