325,000 guineas for Saxon Warrior Filly
Deep Impact’s two time Group I winning son Saxon Warrior has achieved impressive sales results in the Northern Hemisphere this year with his first yearlings and the trend continues at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale book 1 this week.
Saxon Warrior did best with a filly from Archangel Gabriel that made 325,000 guineas for Stauffenberg Bloodstock when secured by Blandford Bloodstock.
The filly had a timely pedigree update as she is now a half-sister to stakes-winner Ville de Grace from a full sister to US Group I winner Prince Arch.
Saxon Warrior also had big results with a colt from Aktoria selling for 300,000 guineas and a colt from Cay Dancer selling for 205,000 guineas.
Saxon Warrior is back in Australia this spring at a fee of just $13,750 and will have his first Southern Hemisphere bred yearlings at sales in 2022.
