$330,000 for Sister to Paris Dior
Pierro filly Paris Dior (2f Pierro x Entrancing, by Exceed and Excel) ran a gallant second in last Saturday’s $2million Inglis Millennium (1100m) at Randwick and her full sister was the subject of keen bidding at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.
Consigned by Marquee Stud, the second foal of good metro winner Entrancing was purchased by Trilogy Racing / CB Bloodstock for $330,000 to be the highest priced Pierro yearling at this sale.
Given the potential of the Peter and Paul Snowden trained Paris Dior, who has a win and two seconds from just three starts, this filly might look very well bought in a year’s time.
Pierro also had good results with a colt from Subtitle selling for $300,000 to WA buyer D Smith, a filly from Golden Hooves (GB) fetching $220,000 to the bid of Andrew Williams Bloodstock / Andrew Forsman Racing NZ and a colt from Sprightly Lass making $200,000 when knocked down to Bennett Racing.
