$500,000 Pride of Dubai Filly
A dual Group I winner at two, Pride of Dubai has made a fast start in his stud career with a flurry of stakes horses ensuring his popularity at Magic Millions and a filly from Jezzaba fetching $500,000 on Thursday.
Consigned by Segenhoe and bought by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, the star filly is a full sister to stakes-placed Dubai Star and is the second foal from Jezzabba, a half-sister by Fastnet Rock to Group II winner Von Costa de Hero from Group I winner Piavonic.
Also trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Dubai Star was a good second in the Listed MRC Merson Cooper Stakes during the spring.
Jezzabba was covered again last spring by Pride of Dubai, who has had five yearlings average $310,000 in the first two sessions putting him into the Top 10 sires by average.
