$600,000 for Fastnet Rock Colt

Champion sire Fastnet Rock made his presence felt on the first day at Magic Millions with a colt from Madame Lily selling for $600,000.

Consigned by Vinery Stud for Glentree Pastoral, he was purchased by Curran Bloodstock and is the third foal of Sydney metro winner Madame Lily, a half-sister by More Than Ready to Group winners Friesan Fire and Villermont from Group I Coolmore Classic winner Bollinger.

The colt’s third dam is Golden Slipper winner Bint Marscay with other Group I winners on the page including Benicio, Filante and Kenny’s Best Pal.

Madame Lily has been a regular visitor to Coolmore and had another filly by Fastnet Rock last spring and was then covered by Pierro.
