$650,000 for Fastnet Rock Colt

Champion sire Fastnet Rock featured at the 2017 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on Thursday with a powerful bay colt from US Group I winner Pure Fun selling for $650,000. Consigned by Kia Ora Stud and purchased by a partnership of investors in Aquis Farm /Stonestreet Stables /Blue Sky Bloodstock, the colt is the first of his dam, who won the Group I Hollywood Starlet Stakes.

Fastnet Rock has also had good results with a filly from Graceful Anna selling for $400,000 to Waller Racing/ Mulcaster Bloodstock, while a colt from Paprika went to Keiran Moore.
