Global Pivot (Pierro) winning at Bendigo

Another Promising Pierro Winner for Waterhouse and Bott

The Waterhouse Bott stable made it two promising winners by Pierro in two days when promising filly Global Pivot (3f Pierro x Global Balance, by Redoute’s Choice) scored at Bendigo following on from a Warwick Farm success for Les Vampires (3c Pierro x Musidora, by Rock of Gibraltar) on Wednesday.

Global Pivot led all the way for Jordan Childs at her third start to score a stylish half length win in the 1300m maiden.

“She is still learning her craft, and it felt like she was waiting for the others, so there is good improvement there,” Childs said.

“She seems to be a nice progressive horse.”

A homebred for Jonathon Munz’s Pinecliff Racing, Global Pivot is the third winner from four to race for the talented Redoute’s Choice mare Global Balance, winner of the Group III SAJC Auraria Stakes and Listed TTC Tasmanian Oaks.

The dam of Global Balance, Balance of Nature, is a half-sister by Storm Cat to champion miler and successful sire Spinning World.

Pierro has some outstanding crops two, three and four year-olds to run for him this season and stands at a fee of $82,500 this spring.
