First Yes Yes Yes Sells for $300,000
The first yearling by Everest hero Yes Yes Yes to be offered at Magic Millions on Tuesday produced a great result for Tyreel Stud when selling for $300,000.
A half-sister to good Sydney metro winner Kalino, the filly from Lanikai was purchased by BK Racing and comes with a lovely pedigree being from the family of Group I winners River Dove and Captivant as well as Group II winning sire Headwater.
After missing in 2021, Lanikai was covered again by Yes Yes Yes last spring so will produce a full sibling to this filly later in the year.
“She was a lovely filly from a beautiful mare that has a very active family,” said Linda Monds of Tyreel Stud.
“She sold for well over the reserve and there were a lot of people on her in the sale ring.”
Yes Yes Yes was purchased out of this sale in 2018 for $200,000 and went on to win over $7.2million in prizemoney highlighted by his career defining Everest win against the world’s best sprinters.
He also had good sales in the first session with a filly from Luluoru making $260,000 for Widden Stud when secured by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock/Brut Racing and a colt from Miss Benedetta making $250,000 for Kingstar Farm when purchased by Anthony Freedman Racing/Rosemont Alliance/Suman Hedge Bloodstock/Julian Blaxland Bloodstock.
