French stakes winner for So You Think
There was a black-type victory for So You Think in Paris on Wednesday when Marathon Man (4c So You Think-Marie Des Fleurs, by Smart Strike) came out on top in the Listed Prix Jacques Laffitte at Longchamp.
The four-year-old had scored easily on his seasonal comeback at Chantilly a month earlier and trainer Yann Lerner believes there could be more to come.
“We have always liked him and he’s a horse that can do better. He’d appreciate good ground more,” said Lerner.
Marathon Man was bred by Haras Du Cadran and Ecurie La Boetie and was sold for €130,000 as a yearling at Arqana.
