Godolphin Purchase $600,000 Fastnet Rock Filly
A quality bay filly by champion sire Fastnet Rock from Group I winner Mid Summer Music caught the eye of the Godolphin buying team on Friday at Magic Millions.
They paid $600,000 for the Cressfield bred and consigned filly, who is a half-sister to Magic Millions 2YO Classic contender Euphoric Summer.
“She meets all the criteria when we came here at the beginning of the week. She has an absolutely bomb-proof attitude and has handled the week really well,” Godolphin Australia racing and bloodstock manager Jason Walsh said.
Other big sales for Fastnet Rock were $500,000 and $420,000 for two filles consigned by Baramul stud from Samartested and Chateau Cheval, while Attunga Stud received $400,000 for their filly from Dessau.
