Good Judges Purchase Acrobat Weanlings
For a stallion that stands at a modest fee of $13,750, Acrobat posted some encouraging results at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale this week with his highest priced weanling purchased by astute pinhooking partnership Sledmere / Cangon.
They secured a lovely colt, the first foal from Spirit of Boom mare Little Joanna for $48,000 from the Bell River Thoroughbreds draft. He comes from a prolific running and winning family that has produced Group winners Chapter and Verse and Cifrado, so he will make plenty of appeal he is re-offered next year.
Parsons Creek also had a nice result with their colt from So You Think mare Think Icon that made $45,000 when bought by Westbury Park Agistment Centre.
