Home Affairs Colt Sells for $200,000
The Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale this week produced another good result for exciting young sire Home Affairs with Tasmanian vendors Armidale Stud well rewarded for their colt from Mystical Pursuit that sold for $200,000.
The second foal of brilliant stakes-winning juvenile Mystical Pursuit, the colt was bought with pinhooking in mind by Kilgravin Lodge / Bevan Smith Bloodstock and will be well placed at Karaka next year.
Mystical Pursuit was a repeat visitor to Coolmore and is now in foal to Pierro.
Also bought by New Zealand based pinhookers Woburn Farm was a Home Affairs filly from Written Tycoon stakes-winner Hot Dipped that made $120,000 for Longwood Thoroughbred Farm.
Hot Dipped was one of 189 mares covered again last spring by Home Affairs.
